I don't have a CD drive. How do I download and install the software?

The entire contents of the software CD can be downloaded from our site.

1. ​Visit StopmotionExplosion.com and open the Downloads page.
2. Type in the specified information from the Stopmotion Explosion book.

Windows Installation

1. Download and run the Stopmotion Explosion Animator installer. You can launch SME Animator from the Start menu.
2. Download the Sound Effects Collection. This should be placed into your Documents folder, or any place you can easily access it.

MacOS Installation

1. Download the Stopmotion Explosion Animator for MacOS application.
2. Double-click the DMG file, and drag the app icon into your Applications folder. Stopmotion Explosion Animator can be launched by double-clicking the application icon.
3. Download the Sound Effects Collection. This should be placed into your Documents folder, or any place you can easily access it.

You can wait to install any remaining software or resources until you reach the relevant section in the Stopmotion Explosion book.
